The candle holder is ideal for Christmas decorations during Advent. It fits perfectly on the dining table or, for example, on the dresser in the living room, all year round, with or without seasonal decorations.

The wooden box originally served as a mold for making bricks. Each candle holder is therefore unique and always slightly different in appearance. The holder for the taper candles was added later.

The dimensions and weight may vary slightly, as the wooden boxes were built for making bricks. In other words, they weren't perfectly tailored for decorative purposes. These boxes have served the construction industry in India and are now looking forward to a second life as a rustic candle holder. The item is clean, intact, and sturdy. In India, most bricks (also called clay bricks) are still made by hand. Clay is pressed into the box by hand, the box is turned over, and the blank is pre-dried in the sun before being fired into a brick in the kiln.
